Psalms: Window to Our Souls, Part 2Sample

Do you have a reason to sing your heart out today? As we go through the psalm, it's not hard to imagine the psalmist singing out loud to praise God. I remember a sister at the church where I grew up, and every Sunday she would sing as loud as she could during worship. I used to find it a little annoying because she is not the best singer. In fact, most of the time she was very off.
Then one day I heard her story. She was facing many adversities in life, and yet she never complained because she believed that every breath she had was a gift from God. She believed hardships were spaces where God could purify and grow her. Once I knew that about her, her worship became an encouragement for me. She was a reminder that God is good even when things are not good. She was a symbol of faith. And I thanked God for her off-tune and yet beautiful praise of Him.
