One of the most prominent ways to hear God’s voice is reading his word to us in the Bible.
God gave us the Bible as a way to show us the right way to live, provide stories to learn from, and give clear instructions on what God’s plan is for humanity. When we read the Bible, we aren’t reading just any book—we are reading God’s message to us, written by humans who he chose.
Sometimes the Bible can be hard to understand, or it can feel overwhelming since there are many different parts. But, we shouldn’t give up just because reading the Bible can be challenging! It’s essential to keep reading, asking questions, and discovering what’s in God’s word so that we can hear his voice each day. He’s ready to talk to you- are you prepared to listen?
Challenge: Take a moment to thank God today for giving us the Bible. Ask him to provide you with wisdom as you read his word to you, and try to memorize 2 Timothy 3:16 as a reminder to listen to God’s voice each day.
