We all have experienced a sense of desperation and desire for a lasting and meaningful relationship. This fulfillment and desire can only be found in the person of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the most misrepresented person in the Triune Godhead. Some are afraid that if they surrender and submit to the Holy Spirit they will lose control and order over their lives. The Holy Spirit was not sent to destroy our lives but to build and comfort us. It is a gift that was sent from God to aid us in our walk of salvation. The Holy Spirit goes beyond just speaking in tongues and extends into a relationship and authentic intimacy with God our Father.
Today's Prayer
Holy Spirit, I know that you were sent from God to help me with every detail of my life. I thank You because Your Life flows through me. You give me the power to resist temptation and every thought that is contrary to what God says about me. I surrender all to You today and choose to give You complete control over my life.
In Jesus' name, amen.

In life, we search for something more to fill the void in our souls. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can fully fill and satisfy that void. Unfortunately, many people keep the Holy Spirit distant and are afraid of His power. As Christians, we have the privilege to access the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus into our lives.
