Faith in the Unseen

Our hope for our kids is that they become people of faith. We want children who rise up and move mountains by the power of Jesus. Ask God to build faith in your children. May they hear his voice and respond.

PRAYER:

God, you are the one who gifts us with faith. I ask that you build up the faith of my children. Let them put all their hope in you. Even though they can’t see you, I ask that you speak to them and reveal yourself to them. May they have willing hearts that are ready to hear your voice. Like young Samuel in the Old Testament, let them recognize your calling and respond. I know that as you build up their faith, they will be people who move great mountains. You are going to use them mightily in this life. You have good plans and a purpose for them, and I pray nothing will thwart your will for them.

I entrust them to your hand because I know that you are good. Guard them from placing their hope in other things. Let them not place it in themselves, others, or physical strength or beauty. Let them not place it in a career, talent, skill, or in money. There are many things that offer false hope. Give them discernment to know which are not fruitful.
