In Jesus’ Arms: 10 Days of Prayer for Your ChildrenSample

Worthy
We who believe in God are called children of God. This title gives us special glory and honor. Our lives are valuable and worthwhile to God. It will be life-changing when your kids learn this and step into their roles as children of God.
PRAYER:
God of all glory and honor who deserves all praise and worship, thank you for welcoming us into your family. What does it mean that you offer us glory and honor? Perhaps it’s like the honor we give to family members of queens and kings. We give special deference to famous people’s families or those associated with them. So, what a privilege it is to be called a child of God! As part of your family, I receive glory and honor from you. I have value and worth because you give it to me. This life you have given me is precious to you.
The lives you have placed in my parental care are also precious to you. I ask that my children understand their worth. May they see how precious they are in your eyes. Do not let them feel valueless, worthless, or easily discarded. Show them they are treasured by you. Let the fact that they are your children define every move they make. Thank you for loving us with such extravagance.
