A Living Hope
1 Peter 1:3b
This new life brings us a living hope through Jesus Christ’s resurrection from death.
There are many people today who are in hopeless situations. People cannot survive long without hope. Hope keeps us going, even through painful experiences and fear of what the future may hold.
When we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour, we receive a gift called ”The Living Hope.” Jesus is our hope. According to Peter, Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and the promise of eternal life with Him secures this living hope.
If we base our hope on any temporary object in the world, it can easily be shaken and destroyed.
But when our hope is in Jesus, we become optimistic people who positively impact those around us.
No matter how bad our days or circumstances are, we still trust in the Living Hope. Hopelessness will never again be in our dictionary. In Jesus Christ, we have an unshakeable and living hope, even during difficult circumstances.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, you are my Living Hope. You have broken every chain, and there is salvation in Your name. Amen.
