God Cares About You and Me

1 Peter 5:7

Give all your worries to Him, because He cares for you.

I cast all my cares upon You,

I lay all of my burdens down at Your feet,

And anytime I don’t know what to do,

I will cast all my cares upon You.

This is a very simple yet powerful song. The Bible instructs us to trust God rather than ourselves and to be unconcerned about nothing.

God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and able to handle all our worries. We should not hold onto our cares with our strength. Give it to God as He has strong shoulders to carry all our burdens and big arms to welcome us into His embrace. We don’t have to keep our worries to ourselves.

We only need to come to Him and give them all to Him. We only need to turn them over to God.

God wants you to be happy and healthy.

God feels your pain and sadness.

God cares for you!

Why should we suffer alone when there is someone who can help us? Let’s humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God. In other words, trust in the Lord’s power, recognizing that our strength comes from Him and not ourselves.

Prayer

Dear God, I cast all my cares, worries, burdens, and fears upon You. I can’t face them all by myself. I need You. Amen.
