Too Good Not to ShareSample

Step 1 of sharing our faith was to pray for people.
Step 2 is INVEST. In 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Paul shows us an important piece of his mission to share the Good News of Jesus. For Paul, it wasn’t just about shouting the Good News at people from the street corner, but about sharing it with the people he built relationships with.
The same is true for us. God has people in our lives for a reason. We are to invest in those relationships, and as we do, we share the Good News of Jesus with them because it is too good not to share. Investing in someone simply means to show a deep interest in them, not just a surface level politeness. You’re surface level nice to strangers you see on the street, but you invest in people you actually care about.
Who is someone around you that you can start investing in? That might mean befriending someone new to your school or getting to know something new about people on your street. Start investing in those around you now.
Challenge: Take some time to brainstorm a few ideas of what it would look like to invest in those relationships around you. What is it that you have in common with those around you? Sports? School? Theater? You can invest in all of them, but you can be intentional about a few on your list. Go make that happen.

About this Plan

When's the last time you experienced something that you just had to share with a friend? We do this with movies, food, and vacations. But, what if I told you there was something else that is too good not to share? Jesus! Now, talking about Jesus can be scary or we might not know what to say. In this plan, we'll look at how to share Jesus with others.
