God Never Changes
Malachi 3:6a
I am the Lord, and I don’t change.
As time goes by, we are growing taller and bigger. It means we have to change our old clothes with new clothes that are the right size. Everything around us changes. We can easily change our minds about our favorite books, movies, or food. The weather changes as well. In the morning the sun shines brightly but in the afternoon it rains heavily.
We're surrounded by things that change. Relationships, people, landscapes, health, and culture all change. Some changes happen fast and some slowly, but everything changes for sure. Everything, except God!
With everything around us changing and the future being filled with uncertainty, we need to find an unchanging place to put our hope. We can only find it in God as God is unchanging in His existence.
God is perfect. God is love. God is holy. God is truthful. God is merciful. God is full of grace. God is mighty. God is just. God is all-powerful, the biggest and strongest. All these facts do not change till now. All that He is today, He has always been, and forever will be.
Prayer
Dear God, I am glad that I have found an unchanging place to put my hope in. Amen.
