Game Changer (Week 4)Sample

Day Three
Everything’s a Gift - We always celebrate and practice thankfulness! We choose to focus on how great God is, are thankful for everything in our lives, and for the people around us.
READ:
Read the Story of Elisha’s Room in any Children's Bible or in 2 Kings 4:8-17 (ICB)
Elisha was so thankful for his friends that he prayed for them to be happy.
ASK:
Did you know that we can pray for our friends to be happy? Think about all of your friends, even if you have not seen or heard from them in a while, you can pray for them that they would all be happy.
God knows all of your friends and loves them all, just as He loves you.
We can pray for our friends. If they don’t know Jesus that’s ok, we can pray that they will know Him.
Don’t forget to say thank you for all of your friends and to remember that ‘Everything’s a Gift’.
Who are you going to pray for today?
REMEMBER:
Psalm 9:1
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
SAY:
My God is good,
He is awesome and great.
He helps me be strong,
Even when I’m afraid.
I will say thank you,
For all He has done.
For me and my people,
He loves everyone.

About this Plan

During this series we will be journeying through and exploring our ‘Everything's a Gift’. Through scripture and well-known bible stories we’ll explore how this DNA is about having an attitude of gratitude. We pray that children will grasp that God loves a grateful heart and that we have so much that we can be grateful for.
