Game Changer (Week 4)Sample

Day Two
READ:
Read the Story of Elisha’s Room in any Children's Bible or in 2 Kings 4:8-17 (ICB)
'We always celebrate and practice thankfulness! We choose to focus on how great God is, are thankful for everything in our lives, and for the people around us.'
Elisha’s friends were showing him how thankful they were for his life by being kind and making room for him in their home.
ASK:
Is there someone who is kind to you? Thank God for them today - maybe even let them know how thankful you are for them?
Do you have some great ideas about how to show how thankful you are for God, your life and the people around you?
REMEMBER:
Psalm 9:1
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
SAY:
My God is good,
He is awesome and great.
He helps me be strong,
Even when I’m afraid.
I will say thank you,
For all He has done.
For me and my people,
He loves everyone.

About this Plan

During this series we will be journeying through and exploring our ‘Everything's a Gift’. Through scripture and well-known bible stories we’ll explore how this DNA is about having an attitude of gratitude. We pray that children will grasp that God loves a grateful heart and that we have so much that we can be grateful for.
