I love this simple verse that Jesus places inside his teaching on the coming of the Kingdom. Jesus is explaining to everyone how suddenly and quickly His return will happen. Jesus explains that the person who is trying to secure their life here or preserve their life on this earth will lose it. But the one who is actually giving their life away to Jesus and living for Him will save it. It’s only through giving our life to Jesus that we are able to secure our place in Heaven with Him!
How do you need to live your life differently in light of the reminder that the only way to preserve our life is to give it away?
