Week Four - Day Six - Born for Such a Time as This

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

‘The Brave Queen’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 240-246) or in Esther 1-10.

Esther went to the King and told him about Haman’s plans to get rid of the Jews. 

The King had been tricked into signing the new law but Esther spoke up and told the King all about it! 

She used her voice to influence and change what was going on around her! Just like Esther, you also have a powerful voice! 

ASK:

Do you use your powerful voice to speak up for others? What has God asked you to call out and change? 

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great. 

I will recall all you have done, 

The battles that have been won. 

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.
