Week Five - Day Two - God Will Provide

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

READ:

‘A Net Full of Fish’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 462-465) or in John 21:1-14.

Peter and the disciples stayed fishing in the boat all night, but they didn’t catch a single fish! 

Sometimes we work really hard at things, and they just don’t work out in the way we hoped. Or sometimes we pray for something lots and lots, but it doesn’t seem like God is listening.

We have to remember that God is always listening to us, and always working for us, even when it doesn’t seem like it!

ASK:

Is there anything you’ve prayed for that you’re waiting for God to answer? 

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great. 

I will recall all you have done, 

The battles that have been won. 

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.
