DAY 24 OF 42

Week Four - Day Three - Born for Such a Time as This

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

READ:

The Brave Queen’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 240-246) or in Esther 1-10.

Haman was the King’s chief helper. He did not like the Israelites because they were God’s people and he wanted them all to bow down to him.

Mordecai was Esther’s cousin. He refused to bow down to Haman because he only wanted to bow down to God.

Sometimes we might face challenges and opposition. But we can stand strong and be bold, knowing that God is always with us!

ASK:

Can you think of a time when you were bold?

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great.

I will recall all you have done,

The battles that have been won.

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.

About this Plan

Born for This

During this devotional series for Kids, we will explore more that we are born for such a time as this! Through our weekly Bible stories and games we will look at how we are created in the image of God. We are wonderfully made to fulfill the full potential God has placed within each of us!
