40 Days to Heal a Nation’s Racial DivideSample

Day 24 Love is Stronger than Pride
“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.”
Philippians 2:3-11 reveals how love is stronger than pride. Because of Christ’s great love for us, He humbles Himself to the point of death on a cross. We’re commanded to do everything with His kind of humility, regarding others as more important than ourselves. If we as Christ-followers, make a concerted effort to reflect Jesus’s humility, could racism born from pride and supremacy still exist in the family of God? Could racism still thrive in our nation?
ACTION: What can we do today to humble ourselves and love on each other as family that weakens racism stronghold on our nation?
PRAYER
Father, I want to love like You love. Show me where an attitude of supremacy exists in and around me so that I can repent and be free. Yes, Lord, eradicate racism. Please start with me, in Jesus’s Name, Amen.
