The Servant of All
Sometimes it is not easy to deal with people. Jesus knows this very well and yet He calls us to be the servant of ALL. Not just the people who are easy to love and serve, but the unlovable and repulsive.
We must serve them as Christ serves us, without reservation and without concern for what the cost or consequences would be. Jesus knew the consequences of loving and serving us would be ridicule and death, yet He freely loves and serves us.
Goal:
Who are the ones close to you who are hard to serve? Look for ways to show them Christ’s love this week. What are some consequences of loving people around you that may hold you back from serving like Jesus? Count the cost this week and choose to be the servant of all.
