Has anyone ever told you to “Check your heart”? No one can really see what goes on inside of your heart; but some actions may cause people to look at you and say there is something wrong with you on the inside.
If you live very long, you will realize everyone has failures. The greatest failure you will ever have isn’t losing a sports game or failing geometry, but having a failure in your spiritual walk. Jesus said when you do things well in public, but your heart is far from Him, it's a heart issue. It’s easier to monitor our behavior than monitor our heart, but your heart will eventually catch up with your behavior. Jesus didn't come to bring you behavior modification He came to give you a heart transplant.
Goal:
How’s your heart? Do you have any behaviors that may reveal you have a heart issue? Jesus, change my heart!
