Break The Routine.
“But then he pulled back his hand, and out came his brother! “What!” the midwife exclaimed. “How did you break out first?” So he was named Perez.” Genesis 38:29 NLT
It’s time to break the routine. Perez stretched out his hand to break out of the womb of mediocrity. In the birthing process, labor contractions, are usually one of the first signs that it’s time to give birth. Labor contractions are a sign that your baby has outgrown the womb and is being positioned to come through the birth canal. Labor contractions usually start faint and intensify as the time comes closer to give birth. Your baby cannot stay in the womb forever. Your vision must come off the shelf and into reality. Your book must come off of your hard drive and into the real world. You must push through the process and share your vision with the world. It’s time for your baby to be birthed! Your baby, your vision, your dream is waiting on you to push. Push through the pain and birth what God has promised.
Your labor is not in vain. Your process is not in vain. You must push out the book, release the business, launch your God-given idea and feed the world. You cannot hold on to the vision and keep it to yourself any longer. It’s time to push.
When giving birth, a midwife is usually on standby. The midwife was a part of an intimate group of people who were instrumental in the birthing and delivery process. The midwife also declared the identity of the baby and verified that it was alive. Maybe you’ve been sharing your vision with a small group of people, and your midwife was there to cheer you on and to coach you through the process. You must move beyond your comfort zone and give your gifts to the world. Now is the time. You have twins in your womb, multiple ideas, many books, many ideas that are waiting to be birthed. It’s time to deliver and birth out what’s been incubating in your womb. What’s in your womb? Now is the time to birth out that baby and display it to the world.
