Drive: Learning from the ApostlesSample

God loves you. In fact, He loves you so much that He sacrificed His only Son Jesus Christ so that you could become His child. However, adoption into His family doesn’t happen automatically. There are people who will tell you that we are all God’s children. Not true. We are all God’s creations, but we are not all God’s children. To become a child of God, you must confess your sin, accept God’s forgiveness, and trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation. You must surrender your life to God once and for all, no take-backs. 

During His ministry here on earth, Jesus passed by many people who chose not to follow Him. People in His hometown, for instance, were less than impressed and chose to ignore the Truth right in front of them. The disciples, on the other hand, recognized the Truth and gave up everything they had to follow Jesus. Although some were more difficult to convince, they all made a good trade.
