Drive: Learning from the ApostlesSample

Peter loved Jesus, and he wanted to be a part of anything and everything that Jesus was doing, but he lacked maturity early on in his walk with Jesus. He didn’t give up, though. He continued to grow and let God use him, flaws and all, to spread the Gospel, even to those whom he probably found very intimidating.
Eventually, God commissioned Peter to reach the Gentiles, or non-Jews, with the Gospel. Because he was obedient and trusted God to work through him, Peter ended up being the great-great-great-granddaddy of the movement that eventually reached YOU with the Gospel and made it possible for you to have a personal relationship with Jesus!
How did Peter do it? Like the apostle Paul, he kept his priorities straight and remained humble before God. God wants to do something just as cool through you if you’ll do the same!
Thank God for Peter, Paul, and the other disciples and ask Him to use you the way He used them.
