God chose unexpected people, like shepherds, to do some of the most amazing things. That wasn’t random on God’s part – He wanted us to take notice! Maybe we should see more people around us who are unexpected…the person we don’t automatically want to hang out with or follow back on Instagram or the person different from us. The Kingdom of God has a wider span than our Best Friends list on Snapchat. If the Bible tells us to live like Jesus lived, noticing the unnoticed might be a great thing to practice. Jesus actually told a story about this! Read it and then consider: Why do you think it matters so much to show love to those who don’t always feel loved?
