HEAR // Control. Not usually a word we like the sound of—especially if we feel like we’re the ones being controlled. But in this verse, control is made to sound like a good thing. Why? Because control over our bodies IS a good thing. And when we don’t have control over them, they end up controlling us. The truth is, your body is yours; it doesn’t own you. You call the shots. And you do that by showing control. When you have control over your body and what you do with it, you’re going to be more likely to make choices that honor it—and honor others. So, who has control? You or your body?
