HEAR // Have you ever really wanted and tried to do the right thing, and still for some reason it felt nearly impossible to follow through on? Like you knew the best action to take, but no matter how hard you tired, you couldn’t do it? If so, you’re not alone. Paul tells us that we all have this “sinful nature” inside of us, and that it’s drawn toward sin. It can sometimes feel like we’re helpless against it, but the truth is, we’re not! Why? Because the Spirit of God dwells in us, too. That means you have the wisdom, courage, and strength to not only know what God’s Spirit is telling you to do, but actually do it, too. We’ll never NOT have to wrestle with part of us that goes after things that aren’t good for us. But we are never NOT equipped with God’s Spirit when those temptations come up.
