My Life As A Reality TV ShowSample

Every family has rules. “Clear the table after dinner” or “no cell phones after 10 PM.” Sometimes we try to ignore the rules – even God’s rules or commandments - because rules aren’t all that fun to talk about or even think about. But, God gave rules for good reason whenever He gave them. One of the Ten Commandments is about honoring your mother and father. Why do you think God put that in there? The hard part about that command is that some of us, if we’re being honest, have parents and families that might be hard to honor and love sometimes. Some of you might have parents who aren’t even walking with Jesus, or have family members that can be hard to love. That’s not easy. But it might be a great opportunity to show the work of Jesus within you to those around you. Today, think about how you can honor those who seem hard to honor, even your family members.
