God’s Son - JESUS CHRIST

Just as God took the initiative in Creation, He has also taken the initiative in restoring hope to every person whose life has been derailed or undermined by circumstances, human error or evil intent. 

He offers us this life through the finished work of Christ. 

Sin and death have been a harsh reality in every person’s life ever since the time of Adam.

In Luke 15, Jesus tells us three stories that reveal the heart of God for people who lose their way in life. Firstly, He is seeking to save those of us who, like sheep, have drifted away from His clear voice and close presence. 

He is the Shepherd who loves us enough to lay down his own life for our sake. Secondly, He sees us as precious coins in a jewelled setting, some of whom have been jolted loose from our place in His plan for us by the harsh realities of life. He is the Owner who will not rest until each coin has been found and restored to its original setting. Thirdly, He is patiently awaiting the return of those of us whose choices have taken us away from His lavish care into deprivation and misery. He is our loving Father, running to restore the fortunes of His sons who have come to themselves, who are willing to admit that they have sinned against heaven and against Him in their rebellion, who are ready to embrace Him as their forgiving Father. 

SIN’S DESERVED OUTCOME IS DEATH BUT GOD GIVES US THE UNDESERVED GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE!

2 Corinthians 5:19 tells us that: … in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. You must make the choice to accept what He is offering you. You must choose freedom through the death of Jesus, to be reconciled through Him to God.

IS JESUS CHRIST THE ONLY TRUE SAVIOUR?

YES, JESUS IS THE ONLY SAVIOUR; THERE IS NO-ONE ELSE.
