GOD’S HELP AT HAND

When you are clothed with Godliness, you will receive help from God in all the areas of your life. Sometimes you have to pass through rivers and fire in this world. But even during those moments the rivers will not sweep over you or the flames will not set you ablaze. You should be confident that the Lord will be with you and protect you. It is natural for you to go through trials and temptations in life. Even Job the devout man had to go through such afflictions; he lost his family, the great wealth that he owned. Because of the sin committed by man, the devil began to rule this world. It is the devil who sends such afflictions upon the people. But as Jesus came into this world, the devil had no authority on Him and has lost it’s authority on the children of God too.

Also, the devil may send storms in your life. But when you surrender your life to God, He Himself will calm that storm in your life and you will have peace. The resurrected Christ will be with you and guide you. The devil who is the prince of this world has authority to bring destruction in your life and thereby destroy you. But Lord Jesus has the authority to destroy all the machinations of the devil. He has triumphed over the devil on the cross and He made a public spectacle of him. That is why every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth at the name of Jesus.  

Reflection

You will have destruction in this world. But Lord Jesus will be with you and help you to overcome all your problems. He will grant you the authority and the faith to overcome the devil and He will help you to reach your destination safely. Do you believe it?

Prayer

Mighty God, I seek your Presence in my life. Help me to overcome all the trials and temptations that I face in my everyday life. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray. Amen
