This seven-day devotional was written to assist you in developing a healthy spiritual habit of seeking the Lord through prayer and fasting. These two go hand-in-hand. Prayer and fasting are not rituals or acts to impress God; these are the two most powerful things we can do to connect with the Lord on a more intimate level. This devotional can either be another source for reading or can be the avenue to help you develop a deeper and stronger prayer life.

This 3-day fasting Bible reading plan is designed to guide you through spiritual preparation, surrender, and renewal. Beginning with a day focused on preparing your heart for fasting, followed by three days of deepening faith and dependence on God, and concluding with a day of post-fast reflection, each day centers on Scripture and prayer to help you experience God’s presence more fully. Through passages like Matthew 17:14-21 and others, this plan encourages you to confront spiritual obstacles, cultivate “mustard seed” faith, and invite God’s power to work in areas needing breakthroughs.
