Ezra and Nehemiah will be the dynamic duo who rebuild and restore the nation of Israel. During the exile the people have time to consider why God has dealt with them in this way. Ezra will be the Bible teacher who leads a spiritual renewal and re-institutes the Levitical system. Nehemiah will be the civic planner who raises money for the walls and infrastructure, as well as leading the nation politically.
