Receive and Radiate

Charles Finney was a man who was always overflowing with God’s presence. Once when he was walking on the road two drunkards who were fighting with each other in the bar were thrown out on streets. They fell on the street in Finney’s path. He did not know them. They too never knew him. But when they lifted up their eyes and saw him they cried out saying, “Sir, you are convicting us of our sins.” Charles Finney was filled with God’s love and counselled them and led them to turn their hearts to Jesus. Finney attributes the presence of God through seeking God daily. He would go to the forest the moment he would feel dry in the spirit and would read the Bible for hours together. At that time, the Lord’s Holy Spirit would descend upon him and fill him. He would then commence his ministry with the sure feeling of the presence of the Lord.

Isn’t it glorious that Jesus radiates Himself on earth through a man’s face? Radiation is possible only if you receive Him and have constant communion with God through prayer and by reading God’s word. This relationship will sanctify you and protect you. And it will bring others to Christ as well.

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, thank You for the unconditional love that You have shown on me. Help me to abide in You always. Help me to radiate Your holiness and lead many towards Your great salvation. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

‘You are here to radiate God’s beauty’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
