Have you ever felt like you couldn’t make very much of a difference? Whether at home, school or with friends, it’s not a great feeling when you think what you do or say doesn’t matter. I think we’ve all been there at one point or another. It can really make you wonder if you have any influence in the world at all!

A guy named Paul, who did life with Jesus while He was on Earth, wrote something that we can remember when we feel like that. He reminds us that we can set an example for others in the way we live. We can use our gifts and talents to set the example of what living a life for Jesus is all about, showing the world more of who Jesus is.

So today, write this verse somewhere you’ll see it often this week. Every time you see it, try to memorize it. In moments when you feel like you don’t have much influence, come back to this verse as your reminder that you can set an example by the way you live.
