One of the really cool things about following Jesus is that we aren’t doing it alone. Not only do we have God and God’s Spirit to guide us, but we also have other people to learn from and learn with! There is so much value in getting to know other people, especially those older than us who have followed Jesus a lot longer than we have. Their stories and wisdom about how they’ve experienced God working in their lives can help us see God working in our own. Their generosity in sharing their faith with us can do so much to encourage and challenge us.

Think of someone older than you who follows Jesus. Ask them to share a little about their faith and how they’ve experienced God in their lives with you.
