Let Your Light Shine
No heavenly law dictates that we sell everything we have, cloister ourselves in a commune, and live on organically grown vegetables and goat’s milk. That’s been done in forced ways, and it doesn’t work. Forced ways never work because that is not how God does things. Rather, He calls us to be salt and light in the world, and much of what “shines” through us of His light will be in the way we handle the everyday, ordinary things of life.
His spirit of loving, giving, and sharing among and through His people is one of God’s primary means for “lighting” the world.
