PRAY When you pray, ask God to meet you in his Word and to speak to you as you read it now.

READ Exodus 1–2

REFLECT God protected Moses at his birth and as he grew. How has God been active in caring for you through your life? Why do you suppose God has done this?

APPLY Begin a journal to record the ways that God is providing, caring and preparing you for the work to which he has called or is calling you.

PRAY Lord, I’m grateful for the many ways You have protected and prepared me for life. Help me live it faithfully.
