Experience Weekend — Student Launch Planគំរូ

If you want to do better in math class, you may study more for your upcoming test. If you want to make the school’s soccer team, you will probably practice more before tryouts. If you want to grow closer to God, you should read His Word and talk to Him more. Often, when we want something to happen, we depend on our own effort to make it happen. What about when that is not an option, though? What about when life feels crazy and our situation seems to be out of our own control?
The reality of our lives is that we are ultimately not in control. God is. He wants us to work hard and can use our hard work for His fame, but we are not true followers of His unless we trust Him. Trusting God looks like recognizing that His ways are better than our ways. Trusting God looks like asking Him for help, knowing we can’t do things on our own. When our lives feel out of control, we can trust that He is up to something far bigger and better than we can often understand.
David in the Bible was a young shepherd when He went up against the huge warrior, Goliath. All odds were against Him, but God was on His side. David stated confidently that God would rescue Him from Goliath! And guess what? God did! Crazy, awesome, sometimes scary adventures are on the other side of you trusting God. How can you trust in God today?
