## The Fourth Sunday in Advent The fourth Sunday readings remind us of the angels. Angels proclaimed the first coming of Christ to the shepherds on the hillside. One day they will proclaim His second coming. At that time, the whole universe will hear it. ### Prayer O Lord, raise up, we pray, Your power, and come among us, and with great might succor us, that whereas, through our sins and wickedness, we are sore let and hindered in running the race that is set before us, Your bountiful grace and mercy may help and deliver us, through the satisfaction of Your Son our Lord, to whom, with You and the Holy Ghost, be honor and glory, world without end. Amen.
