Bible Study 3/30
What is God thinking about you?
Key principle
When God created you, He had several things in mind. First, He created you to love Him and to live in a relationship with Him. Second, He created you to worship Him and to love Him. Third, He created you to help people. God equipped you with the talents and gifts of the Holy Spirit to do that.
Key passages
Psalm 139:13-17 (BSB) – (13) For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. (14) I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvellous are Your works, and I know this very well. (15) My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. (16) Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be. (17) How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God, how vast is their sum! If I were to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; and when I awake, I am still with You.

3 Questions
1. What do we learn about God from these 3 Scripture passages? (How is God revealing Himself in these passages? What do we learn about His character, promises, works, the way He works, and His commands and promises?
2. What do we learn about ourselves or people from these Scripture passages? (What is God expecting from me? What must change in my life? How must I treat other people? What is God thinking about me? What responsibilities are God giving to me? Any warnings? Commands? Promises?)
2 Things to remember
Which two things stand out to you, and do you need to remember?
1 Practical thing to do
Obedience: Because God is speaking here, we must respond: What must I do to obey what He says in these Scripture passages? What do I sense the Holy Spirit saying and asking me to do? What must change in my life? How can I apply and integrate these truths into my life? How can I be a blessing to the people around me? Decide on one thing you could do or change within the next 48 hours..
Prayer
Take time to pray. Ask the Lord if there are things in your life that He doesn’t want there. Confess them.
About this Plan

Every day, people come to Jesus and start to follow Him. Many of them do not receive follow-up. Nobody is taking care of them. Nobody helps them grow in their relationship with Jesus or explains to them what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Short: Nobody is discipling them. This plan will help you to that with young converts.
