Jesus is our only true Resting Place. During different seasons of our lives, we can become overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, sad, or even depressed. This is particularly upsetting when we want to love the Lord, enjoy Him, and bless those around us. This plan is designed to be a very practical help to reclaim our joy, peace, and witness during these difficult times.

The decorations, the traditions, the celebrations with family and friends—it’s a special time of year and there’s nothing else like it. Christmas is an entirely unique season, and even though we sometimes don’t want it to come at us too early, many of us can admit we also don’t want it to end. We’d rather hold on to Christmas than let it go, and it’s important to consider why.

The word translated as peace in the Old Testament is the Hebrew word shalom, which means "everything as it should be." Jesus came to line up everything the way God meant it to be – Jesus is our shalom.
