Galatians 6

6
Bearing One Another’s Burdens
1 Brothers and sisters, if a man is caught in any sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently, being careful to watch yourself, so that you are not also tempted.
2 Carry one another’s burdens, and in doing so, you will fulfill the law of Christ.
3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 Let each one examine his own actions, and then he will have cause for pride in himself alone, and not in comparison with others.
5 For each one will bear his own responsibility.
Sowing to the Spirit
6 Let the one who is taught the message share all good things with the one who teaches.
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will also reap.
8 Those who sow to satisfy their flesh will reap decay from the flesh, but those who sow to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
9 Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not give up.
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the household of faith.
The Superiority of the New Creation Over Circumcision and Uncircumcision
11 See the large letters in which I have written this with my own hand!
12 All who desire to make a favorable impression on the flesh—these people are insisting on circumcision—do so only to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For not even those who are circumcised obey the Law themselves; yet they want you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.
14 But may it never be that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value; what matters is being a new creation.
16 Peace and mercy be upon all who follow this rule, and upon the Israel of God.
Conclusion and Benediction
17 From now on, let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
18 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
