Revelation 2

2
To the Church in Ephesus
1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus, write:
These things say the One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: 2 ‘I know your works and your labour and your perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil people. And you have put to the test those who call themselves apostles but are not, and you have found them to be false. 3 And you have perseverance, and have endured because of My name, and have not grown weary. 4 Yet I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works. But if you do not, * I am coming to you, * and I will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6 But you have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who prevails, I will give the right to eat * from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’
To the Church in Smyrna
8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna, write:
These things says the First and the Last, who was dead and came to life: 9 ‘I know your * tribulation and poverty (but you are rich), and the defamation by those who call themselves Jews but are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not be afraid of what you are going to suffer. Behold, the devil is going to throw some of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The one who prevails will never be hurt by the second death.’
To the Church in Pergamum
12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamum, write:
These things say the One who has the sharp double-edged sword: 13 ‘I know where you live, where the throne of Satan is. Yet you are holding fast to My name, and you did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan lives. 14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who are holding fast to the teaching of Balaam, who consistently taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality. 15 So also, you have those who are holding fast to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Therefore, repent. But if you do not, I am coming to you quickly, and I will engage in war against them with the sword of My mouth. 17 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who prevails, I will give him some of the manna that has been hidden, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except the one who receives it.’
To the Church in Thyatira
18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write:
These things say the Son of God, the One who has His eyes like a flame of fire and His feet like burnished bronze: 19 ‘I know your works, and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your last works are greater than the first ones. 20 But I hold this against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, the one who calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and misleads My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I have given her time to repent, but she was not willing to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I am throwing her onto a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works. 23 And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works. 24 Now I say to you, the rest of those in Thyatira, as many as do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they say—I do not impose on you any other burden.
25 Moreover, hold fast to what you have until I come. 26 And the one who prevails and keeps My works until the end, I will give him authority over the nations, 27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as the earthen vessels are crushed to fragments—just as I have received authority * from My Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.’
