Yet I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works. But if you do not, * I am coming to you, * and I will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

Do not be afraid of what you are going to suffer. Behold, the devil is going to throw some of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who prevails, I will give the right to eat * from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’

‘I know your works and your labour and your perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil people. And you have put to the test those who call themselves apostles but are not, and you have found them to be false.

And you have perseverance, and have endured because of My name, and have not grown weary.

The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who prevails, I will give him some of the manna that has been hidden, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except the one who receives it.’
