PSALM ONE HUNDRED-FORTY-EIGHT
1O praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights.
2Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts.
3Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars of light.
4Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens. #Gen. 1:7; 1 Ki. 8:27; 2 Cor. 12:2
5Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created. #Gen. 1:1, 6; Psa. 33:6, 9
6He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which shall not pass away. #Jer. 33:25; Psa. 89:37
7Let praise be to the Lord from the earth, you sea monsters, and all the depths; #Isa. 43:20
8Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy winds fulfilling His word, #Psa. 147:15-18
9Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars, #Isa. 44:23
10Beasts and all livestock, creeping things and flying birds,
11Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth,
12Both young men and maidens, old men and children;
13Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens. #Isa. 12:4; Psa. 113:4
14And He has also lifted up a horn for His people, praise for all His saints, even of the children of Israel, a people near to Him. O praise the Lord! #Psa. 75:10, 149:9; Eph. 2:17
