“Exert yourselves to the utmost to enter through the narrow door, * because many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

And behold, there was a woman there who had a spirit of disability for eighteen years; and she was bent over and not able to raise herself up fully. And seeing her, Jesus called out and said to her, “Woman, you are released from your disability.”

And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and began to glorify God.

And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, * open to us.’ And in reply, He will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’

No, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all perish as well.”

And He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of unrighteousness!’

Therefore, He said, “What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I liken it? It is like a grain of mustard * that a man took and threw into his own garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the sky found shelter in its branches.”
