PERFECT OBEDIENCE From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible has a lot to say about obedience. In the story of the Ten Commandments, we see how important the concept of obedience is to God. Deuteronomy 11:26–28 sums up the key "Obey and you will be blessed. Disobey and you will be cursed." Believers are called to a life of obedience. In Jesus, we find the perfect model of obedience and we follow His example. Perfect obedience brings God’s blessings. Perfect obedience is about trusting in God. Though it may appear difficult, there are great examples in the bible for us to follow. Abraham left the country as told by God (Genesis 12:1-4). Noah did everything as God commanded him (Genesis 6:22).
