Father God, I thank You for the grace to live a life of holiness. I commit to honoring You with my mind, body, and soul. In 1 Thessalonians 5:22, Your Word instructs us to “abstain from all appearance of evil.” I ask that You strengthen and empower me to avoid anything that might lead me to stray from You. I submit myself to You and stand on Your promise according to James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” I ask that You forgive my sins and help me walk in a way pleasing in Your sight. Purify my heart. Sanctify me wholly. I believe that You have forgiven and healed me. I will walk in the freedom that You’ve given me through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ matchless name, I pray. Amen.
