## YOUR VALUE IS DISPLAYED IN HIS SACRIFICE The simplicity of John 3:16 more than validates your worth. My wife is a real estate agent and while you can try to sell a home at whatever price you want, the real value of any property is the price that someone is willing to pay for it. The enemy of our lives, the devil, will make sure we receive constant messages that attempt to downplay our value and worth. And the sad truth is that often a religious spirit has crept into theology to try and get preachers to feel like they have to emphasize our moral depravity and worthlessness to somehow elevate the holiness and greatness of God, but this is foolishness. Assuming that God loves to hear us talk about how worthless we are because of our weaknesses and sinful nature is silly.  As silly as me wanting my child to tell me all the things she hates about herself before she can ask me for breakfast or anything else she needs. If my child keeps focusing on her mess ups, I tell her to stop it and reaffirm her value.  Remember, the ultimate price that your Father was willing to pay to rescue you from the grip of Satan! Jesus's willingness to go to the cross speaks of your great value!   Anytime you begin to doubt your worth, go back and remember the cross!
