NT 260: Part ThreeSample

Those who would want to turn people from their faith point to the promise that Jesus will return and wonder why it hasn’t happened yet. If they were asking that question during Peter’s life, how much more almost 2000 years later? He lets them know Jesus could return at any time, or He could wait much longer as He waits for more to come to Him. However, we should live in the certainty that it will happen.

We look forward to Jesus’ return, but we also realize that when He does, it is the end for those who have not believed. When is the right time? We need to rely on God to make the perfect choice. However, we need to live knowing the end could come for us at any moment. What do you want to be doing? Who do you still need to tell about Jesus?
