Ever felt like you weren’t sure what you believed in anymore? Ever had a moment where you felt like your faith was being shaken in this crazy, messed up world we live in? There are so many opinions floating around about so many different things, it's really easy for us to get confused, or even doubtful about some of the most basic things in our faith.

Even Peter in the Bible, one of Jesus’ closest friends, doubted Jesus at times. In fact, when Jesus was arrested, Peter denied even having relationship with Jesus three times. Events in life can certainly shake us.

In these times it’s so important that we take a more simple look at our faith. A pastor once said, “What you believe is not as critical as whom you believe in.” That is so true! We get caught up in all these secondary things so often that we lose sight of the pillars of our faith.

We hope that during this devotional journey you have been drawn closer to Christ, and allowed him to work on some things in your life. Today as we close, it's important that we return to the basic reasons we have faith; because of WHO God IS! As you listen to the words of this song, would you proclaim your belief in God, and allow these words to be foundational to your life.
