Safeguard Yourself 

Years ago in a particular city, a young lady along with her twin children was driving the car to another place. Half way through, she remembered that her friend had invited her to a party that was on the way. So she decided to just peep in and say hello to her friend and return back quickly. Saying so, she left her children in the car and went inside. She just wanted to greet her friend but as she went inside, she met lots of people and time passed by. After few hours, she suddenly remembered that her children were in the car and ran to see them. Alas! She found that they had fainted; she tried to bring them back to consciousness, but to her dismay, both of them died. That moment, she regretted going to the party but it was too late to bring back her children to life. 

Dear friend, when you try to let even an iota of the pleasures of this world into your life, it will drag you from your eternal destiny and you will lose your belongings (rights). That is why it is very important to fix your eyes on your destiny. To avoid distraction on the journey, you must put on the armor of God as it is said in Ephesians. With the armor of God, you will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Safeguard yourself from the devil with the armor of God. 

 Prayer

“Loving Lord, many are the trials and temptations that I have to face in this world. Please Lord, help me to overcome them. Let Your grace surround me like a wall of fire, so that no evil will carry me away. Bind me and cover me under Your wings. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.” 

‘No evil can penetrate the armor of God. Wear it!’
