Blessing For TodaySample

I dare to call Him ‘Father’
A little girl was brought up being taught, “God is a Judge. He is waiting to judge the people for their mistakes.” So, when she grew up, she became afraid of God. At one period of time, she lost her husband and children. She had no peace in her family life. One day, she went to a dinner where she met a missionary couple. They said, “Sister, can we pray for you?” “Yes” she said. They began their prayer with the words, “Our loving heavenly father.” It shook her up. After the prayer, she asked them, “To whom were you talking?” They said, “To God.” She said, “But you addressed him as a loving heavenly father.” They said, “Yes, He is our heavenly father.” She couldn’t believe it. Then, they told her about the love of Jesus, His death and resurrection. She was moved. She went home, knelt down and said, “My loving heavenly father.” Immediately, a great peace and joy filled her. Her communion with God had been established. At last she wrote a book “I dare to call Him Father.”
What a wonderful relationship the word “Father” denotes! This relationship removes fear from the heart and provides security. What a privilege it is to call Him as “Abba, Father” at all times. Beloved, be happy that you have a “loving heavenly Father” with you always to love and care for you. Fill your diary with reflections you have with this wonderful Father, every day.
Prayer
“Loving heavenly Father, You are my Creator and my Father. Holy Spirit, thank You for giving me the boldness and assurance to call You as ‘Abba, Father’. Lord, let this light shine to others who are hopeless and living in fear. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

About this Plan

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
